I just got this beautiful Dell Inspiron 7352 Broadwell i7-5500u (5th edition), the Windows 8.1 trackpad is working horribly. I decided to make it into a perfect MacBook Air7,2 wanna be. Here is how I did it. To have more information on how to create a “mac wanna be” check out this post. Please don’t ask questions about distros here, this is strictly about vanilla installation.
Installing High Sierra on VMware requires VMware Unlocker for macOS or Unlocker for VMware Patch Tool. These Apple products prices are significantly rising up every time Apple releases a new product.
It seems like I couldn’t change anything from the BIOS using F2 (setup), F12 (boot devices). I think I can access the BIOS from Windows 8.1 using this method but I never tried since everything is working by default. Update BIOS from A01 to A08 then A09 is the latest.

Check compatibility
You can upgrade to macOS High Sierra from OS X Mountain Lion or later on any of the following Mac models. Your Mac also needs at least 2GB of memory and 14.3GB of available storage space.

Get connected
It takes time to download and install macOS, so make sure that you have a reliable Internet connection. If you're using a Mac notebook computer, plug it into AC power.
Download macOS High Sierra
For the strongest security and latest features, find out whether you can upgrade to macOS Catalina, the latest version of the Mac operating system.

Begin installation
After downloading, the installer opens automatically.

Click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions. You might find it easiest to begin installation in the evening so that it can complete overnight, if needed.
If the installer asks for permission to install a helper tool, enter the administrator name and password that you use to log in to your Mac, then click Add Helper.
Allow installation to complete
Please allow installation to complete without putting your Mac to sleep or closing its lid. Your Mac might restart, show a progress bar, or show a blank screen several times as it installs both macOS and related updates to your Mac firmware.
